Our Story

Born in the Mountains, Crafted for the Grill

The Adirondack High Peaks aren’t just mountains to me — they are a second home, a proving ground, and a lifelong source of inspiration. For more than 15 years, I’ve walked their rugged trails, crossed their streams, and stood on their summits. I’ve seen sunrises that set the sky on fire, felt the quiet power of a snowfall deep in the forest, and pushed myself through days that demanded more than I thought I had to give.

Anyone who has hiked here will tell you — a mile in the Adirondacks is not like a mile anywhere else. The terrain is unforgiving, the climbs are steep, and the rocks and roots have a way of testing you from the very first step. And yet, that’s exactly what makes you come back. These mountains don’t just challenge you — they change you.

Over the years, I’ve made countless memories here with friends who have become family on the trail. We’ve celebrated summits, weathered storms, shared meals under the stars, and even endured mishaps — like the time I dislocated my shoulder on Mount Allen. Through it all, the Adirondacks have taught me resilience, patience, and the kind of camaraderie that only comes from helping each other through the hard miles.

Why 46 Peaks

The Adirondack High Peaks are made up of 46 summits, each with its own character, challenges, and rewards. Climbing them all is a rite of passage for those who love these mountains. For us, it’s been a shared journey — years of hiking, exploring, and finding ourselves in the process.

So when it came time to create something new, something personal, it felt natural to name it in their honor: 46 Peaks

From the Trail to the Table

Outside the mountains, my life’s work has been in food. I’m the founder of Favuzzi, a line of artisanal Italian products made with passion and authenticity. I believe in quality without compromise, in flavors that bring people together, and in products that tell a story.

With 46 Peaks, I wanted to merge these two worlds — my love for the outdoors and my dedication to exceptional food. Along with my friends, all devoted grill enthusiasts, we created a line of BBQ sauces inspired by the spirit of the Adirondacks: bold, natural, and made for sharing with the people you care about.

More Than a Sauce

To me, 46 Peaks isn’t just a brand. It’s a tribute — to the mountains that have given me so much, to the friends who’ve walked beside me through mud, sweat, and laughter, and to the values the outdoors teaches us: perseverance, respect for nature, and the joy of simple, shared moments.

Every bottle we make carries that story. We choose ingredients with the same care we’d take planning a backcountry trek. We craft each recipe to stand up to the fire of the grill, just as we stand up to the challenges of the trail. And like a great hike, our sauces are meant to be savored — best enjoyed with friends, after a day of doing something that makes you feel alive.

A Piece of the Adirondacks, Wherever You Are

You may not be able to be in the High Peaks every weekend, but when you open a bottle of 46 Peaks, I hope you feel a little of what makes them so special. The ruggedness. The resilience. The reward of something earned.

Because in the end, whether it’s summiting a mountain or grilling a perfect meal, it’s not just about the destination — it’s about the journey, and the people you share it with.

Welcome to 46 Peaks. From our trails to your table.
